Sometimes, the only answer is tree removal.

Below, some questions that can help provoke the thought:

• Is that really the right spot for that tree?
• Is that a reasonable tree to be that close to your family, home, & assets?
• Am I willing to keep up with the maintenance of this tree?

As a tree lover, I’ll be the first to tell you that some trees have no business being near your family/home.

This is by no means a full list or an absolute rule. But here are some tree’s that I do not like near homes:

• Silver Maple
• Tulip Poplar
• Water Oak
• Bradford Pear
• Pines
